1. SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium

SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is one of the best aquariums in the country. It’s like stepping into an underwater world full of colourful fish, huge sharks, sea turtles, jellyfish, and even dugongs! One of the best parts is walking through the glass tunnels where sharks and rays swim all around you—it feels like you’re inside the ocean.

The aquarium has different zones like the Great Barrier Reef exhibit, Penguin Expedition, and Shark Valley, and each one teaches you cool facts about marine life. It’s not just fun—it’s educational too.

2. Madame Tussauds Sydney

Madame Tussauds is a wax museum, but not the boring kind. It’s full of life-sized wax figures of celebrities, movie characters, sports stars, world leaders, and even superheroes. The figures look so real that you might mistake them for the real person!

You can take photos with people like Taylor Swift, Chris Hemsworth, Spider-Man, and even Queen Elizabeth II. There are themed zones like Music, Film, Fashion, and History. Some areas even let you act in a movie scene or try on costumes.

Location: Right next to the aquarium, Darling Harbour

3. WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo brings the Australian outback to the middle of the city. It has animals that you usually only see in the wild—like kangaroos, koalas, wombats, crocodiles, and snakes.

One of the highlights is meeting Rocky, a huge saltwater crocodile. You can also do a koala encounter where you get to stand near a koala and take a photo. It’s a great place to learn about Australian wildlife without leaving the city.

This zoo is different to the Taronga zoo, which is lot bigger in size.

There’s an observation deck with binoculars and touchscreen guides to help you figure out what you’re looking at. If you’re brave, you can try the SKYWALK, where you wear a safety suit and walk outside the tower on a glass platform!
